Legacy Direct is a non-profit, non-governmental organization.
Our programs seek to:- Support the growth and viability of biotechnology projects in Africa by facilitating international strategic partnering opportunities for improving healthcare, affordable commercialization of new biotechnologies and building greater self-reliance in African communities.
- Provide harmonized monitoring and evaluation, and track the geographic distribution of HIV/AIDS related programs, resources and services in Africa. We provide a web-based mechanism for the real-time monitoring, dissemination and access to data relating to HIV/AIDS Survival, Treatment and Eradication (H/ASTE).
- As an additional resource for stakeholders working to improve the standard of care for people living with HIV in Africa, H/ASTE offers assistance with staffing outreach committees in African countries, we help to identify deserving projects, and our field staff can help to evaluate the projects you support by measuring the "on the street" use of funds for the benefit of those who the support is meant to reach.
